September 4, 2020 09:42 PM

There is good news for the local resident of Capital Territory Islamabad, as the government has specified 50percent quota in grade 1 to grade 16 local jobs for the locals.

In this regard, the federal government has made an amendment in the Civil Servant Rules, reported 24NewsHD Friday. The government has amended the section no 15 and 16 of the said rule to give the privilege to the Islamabad residents.

Now, the people having domicile of Islamabad would be entitled to 50percent job quota to fill the vacancies in the local government and the federal government has notified all the ministries and divisions in this regard after amending the Civil Servant Rules.

This quota system will be implemented in the departments having the jurisdiction in Islamabad including Capital Development Authority, IESCO and Islamabad Administration.

However, these regulations would not be implemented in ministries or divisions and they would follow the already-implemented quota system vacancies.
