Unknown culprits poisoned the children of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Food Security Jamshed Iqbal Cheema in a murder attempt, reported 24News HD TV channel on Friday. 

According to the police, the children were taken to the hospital after the incident where their situation is out of danger. The domestic staff has been arrested on suspicion by MPA Mussarat Cheema, the wife of Jamshed Cheema. 

The police have started investigations.
