Somia Asim granted bail in maid Rizwana torture case

A district and sessions court in Islamabad has accepted the post-arrest bail application of Somia Asim, wife of a civil judge and main accused in the infamous teenage maid Rizwana torture case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Additional Sessions Judge Syed Muhammad Haroon on Monday heard the bail petition filed by Somia Asim.

The judge accepted her bail application against the submission of surety bonds worth Rs100,000.
