President Alvi holds meeting to decide fate of provincial assemblies

President of Pakistan Arif Alvi Tuesday held an important meeting on the current national political situation and to discuss the future of the provincial assemblies after the dissolution of the National Assembly.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, President Alvi chaired the meeting in which prominent figures of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) participated and discussed the current issues.

The meeting was also attended by Attorney General Khalid Javed Khan, Babar Awan, Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar, Shafqat Mahmood, Pervez Khattak, Faisal Chaudhry and Imtiaz Siddiqui.

The sources said that President Alvi was also being briefed on the hearing against the ruling of the National Assembly Speaker and dissolution of the National Assembly in the Supreme Court.
