The United Nations Human Rights Council on Wednesday approved a resolution against Israel for occupying Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
The UNHRC approved the resolution submitted by Pakistan against the Israeli occupation of Palestinian Jerusalem and Syria’s Golan Heights.
There were 38 votes in favour of the resolution and just four against it.
The United States and Great Britain were among the four countries that opposed the resolution against Israel.
A total of five states stayed away from voting.
