A notification circulating on social media claiming that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has resigned from the presidency of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was declared fake by senior provincial minister Maryam Aurangzeb on Monday.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb posted a message on Twitter (now X), stating that the notification regarding the resignation of the party head is false.
The fake notification about Nawaz Sharif's resignation from the party leadership had been circulating since yesterday.
