Punjab CM Maryam approves 3-models in Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar programme

Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar program fast-tracked as Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz gave in-principle approval of three models, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.


Presiding over a meeting, the Chief Minister stopped the authorities not to take service charges from the plot borrowers.


Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will inaugurate Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar Programme on August 14.


Model houses have been developed as a pilot program of Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar programme.


Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directed to include living room in the map of model houses.


Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz ordered to introduce toll-free numbers for the convenience of the people.


On the direction of the Chief Minister, PITB will develop a special portal for Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar programme through which aspirants of Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar program will be able to submit the online application sitting at home.


Secretary Housing Captain (Rtd) Asadullah Khan gave a briefing on Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar programme.


The meeting was briefed that Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar Programme forms can be obtained from the offices of deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners.


Plot owners of up to 5 marla will be able to get interest-free loan for building houses.


According to the Chief Minister's instructions, the house owners will get the facility to repay the loan in easy installments.


Allottees of "Phata" will get 3 and 5 marla houses in private schemes, briefing


Allottees of “Phata” will pay house installments in 5 years after buying a house in private scheme.


Punjab Government to provide subsidy to reduce housing cost burden in private scheme.


About 70000 plot owners in any city or village will be able to take loan.


Owner of plot upto 5 marla will get interest free loan for building house.


Important decisions were approved in the meeting chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
