Pakistan People’s Party leader Faryal Talpur has greeted the nation on Sindhi Cultural Day.
In a message, she shed light on objective for celebrating the event, saying that Sindh is the land of the Sufis, always advocating peace, love and tolerance and the the basis of Sindhi culture is brotherhood, altruism and humanity.
Faryal has said it is necessary to highlight the culture of Pakistan, because the identity of the country and the nation cannot be better than the culture.
Meanwhile, Administrator Karachi and Sindh government spokesman Murtaza Wahab in his message said the Sindhis celebrate this day with enthusiasm all over the world.
Murtaza said: “We are proud of our culture. Sindhi culture is rich and based on brotherhood. Celebrating Culture Day teaches peace to the whole world.”
The celebrations have been on across the Sindh. ‘Ho Jamalo’ dance outside the National Press Club Islamabad added charm to Sindhi Cultural Rally. Morover, happiness of the culture is also being shared in Jinnah Bagh Chowk in Larkana
Sindhi Hat and Ajrak stalls were decorated in front of the Nawabshah Press Club. Moreover, tableaux and songs performed at school events captivated the audience.
In Sukkur, the ‘Jogis’ joined the rally with snakes in hand. Tangwani, Sindhi, Punjabi, Pathan and Baloch celebrating the Sindhi culture with full zeal.
A large number of children together along with adults also participated in cultural rallies.
