India has yet to issue visas to the Pakistan Blind Cricket team so they could participate in the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup due in New Delhi today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Pakistan team was scheduled to travel to India’s capital New Delhi on Dec 4 (today) for the opening ceremony of the mega event Blind Cricket T20 World Cup on Dec 5.

Pakistan's squad comprised of 33 members is waiting for Indian visas. Pakistan's team is scheduled to play its first match against South Africa on Dec 6.

The big match between Pakistan and India is scheduled for Dec 7.

Pertinent to note that Pakistan blind team is currently the number one team in the world on the basis of its winning matches.

Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC)'s chairman Sultan Shah said India has not issued visas for the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup.

Earlier, Sultan Shah said: "We haven't received visas today. We submitted squad members' names a month ago and passports a week ago. But no response from India so far," he shared.

"World Blind Cricket Council gave the hosting rights to India on the condition of making sure all countries' participation. I hope the Indian government gives permission by tomorrow," he added.
