Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Friday that he would not let ‘selected’ Prime Minister Imran Khan and his ‘accomplices’ to sell Kashmir to India, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a public gathering in Muzaffarabad on the eve of Kashmir Day, Bilawal said if anyone was on the same page it was Indian PM Modi and Imran Khan.
“If we are to give a befitting reply to Modi, then there should be an elected government at the Centre,” he said and added ‘selected prime minister’ could only send pilot of an enemy country back home after serving him a cup of tea.
He accused PM Imran of trying to give safe passage to the Indian spy, Kulbhushan Jadhav.
PPP chairman prophesied that the PTI government would be sent home by-elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
He said these days the country was being governed by ‘puppets’.
Bilawal said first of all democracy in the country would have to be restored.
Bilawal said it was a "tragedy" for Pakistan — the country that saw the likes of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto as premiers — now has a "puppet" and "selected" prime minister.
"History will remember, that when there were genocide conditions in Kashmir when Kashmir was attacked when the entire region was turned into a jail, our prime minister, on the floor of the National Assembly, said that 'what can I do?"
He said that on one hand former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) had pledged to fight for Kashmir for thousand years, on the other today ‘selected’ prime minister Imran expressed his inability in the face of Indian occupation of Kashmir.
“He only keeps repeating NRO, NRO and NRO,” he added.
Lashing out at the prime minister, he said that the premier had claimed of becoming Kashmiris' ambassador, however, for now, "he was just Kulbhushan Jadhav's ambassador".
"He keeps reiterating that he won't give an NRO to others, however, he is trying to give an NRO to Kulbhushan Jadhav — and that too without informing the National Assembly, through an Ordinance."
Commending the Pakistan Air force, he said that our brave pilots shot down the enemy's jet, but our prime minister sends back the prisoners of war after serving them tea.
Bilawal said that if the Kashmiris were left to decide about their future, they would have selected to be free. "Kashmiris have been fighting for their freedom throughout their lives, and now, they will not permit the 'selected' to curb their freedom," Bilawal said.
