Rapid PCR test fee for Covid-19 reduced at Lahore airport for UAE-bound travelers

There is good news for the UAE-bound passengers from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore as the authorities Saturday announced a huge reduction in the fee for the Rapid PCR test for the Covid-19, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, the UAE-bound passenger will be charged now Rs3000 for the Rapid PCR test for the Covid-19 at Lahore airport as per the directions of The Director General of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Earlier, the passengers heading to Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi had been charged with Rs5000 for the said test.

Lahore Airport manager Chaudhary Nazir said the reduction in the fee for the Rapid PCR test for the Covid-19 has been made on the directions of the CAA and now the passenger will pay Rs3000 for the test instead of Rs5000.
