Talks with Zardari, Bilawal: Shehbaz takes Nawaz, Maulana into confidence

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has taken his party supremo Nawaz Sharif into confidence about his fresh talks with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto on Saturday.

According to the 24News HDTV channel, Shehbaz made a contact with his elder brother and provided him with the details of his conversation with the PPP leadership at his residence in Islamabad.

After a detailed consultancy with the party supremo, the PML-N president called a meeting of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the PML-N on Monday, February 7 to take the party into confidence and make some decisions about the future politics.

Later, Shehbaz also made a telephone call to Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman and informed him about the political development and his meeting with Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto on Saturday lunch.

Shahbaz Sharif told Maulana Fazlur Rehman that he would take him into confidence in a face-to-face meeting in the coming days. They also decided to convene a PDM meeting soon.
