Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the upgradation work of Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur which was completed in a short span of 2-month at a cost of over Rs2 billion, 24 News HD TV channel reported on Monday.
On the occasion talking to media CM Naqvi said the renovation work of a historic hospital built in 1096 was not easy but we delivered it with the cooperation of all the stakeholders.
Giving the details of other key projects in the district, the CM told the media that Safe Cities project was also being launched in Bahawalpur. Naqvi said govt handed over land allotment documents to more than 26 thousands farmers in the district.
He said road projects from Uch Sharif to Ahmedpur East, Marri Qasim Shah to Dera Bakha and from Mandi Yazman to Cahndni Chowk, were completed in the district.
The CM said the government was also working on canals projects in Cholistan.
Naqvi also handed over 3 APC vans besides the repairing of old APC vans to the district police.
