Stunning Pakistani actress Humaima Malick has appeared as a guest on Mooroo’s podcast, where she voiced her concerns about the double standards of criticism.
She questioned why netizens tend to criticize her more for her fashion choices, while other actresses who wear more revealing clothes don't face the same level of scrutiny.
The lady claimed that because of the negative perception that she still carried from her time working with Imran Hashmi in Bollywood, she has always been singled out for abuse.
Humaima stated the title that the general public had given her:
“Bol se Bold tk”
The actress asked that people recognize that, as actors, our real lives differ greatly from those on screen. She also expressed how much it now pains and affects her that people are always willing to criticize.
Humaima said that she hated it when people tagged her brother Feroze Khan in her photos, attempting to drag him into teaching her some modesty because he is a religious person.
The public should understand that we both are individuals and are responsible for our own actions, the star said.
She went on to say that people in our country have started wearing revealing dresses to weddings, but no one says anything to them, despite all the hatred for her.
"Such a frustrated nation," she said.
