Two alleged dacoits of Corolla Car gang killed in police encounter

Two dacoits of notorious Corolla CAR gang were killed and arrested another after an alleged police encounter in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel Monday.
The police have also recovered a huge cache of arms from their possession.
According to SSP East Sajid Sadozai, the encounter took place near Malir City Police Station between Ferozeabad Police and the alleged dacoits.
He said five alleged accused were roaming in the Ferozeabad area in a Corolla Car and on suspicion when a police petrol party led by SHO Ferozabad tried to stop them for checking they hit the car and also opened fire on the police party and tried to flee. SHO got injured during the incident and the police party chased the dacoits and intercepted them at the U-turn near Malir 15.
SSP East said during the encounter, two dacoits got killed during the encounter while one got severely injured. The other two succeeded in fleeing. The dead have been identified as Juma Khan and Naemat while injured as Mahmood.
The police recovered three pistols along with rounds, a mini Kalashnikov with rounds and the white corolla car that was being used in the incident.
SSP East said deceased accused Juma Khan was also arrested in 2017 on charges of dacoity in Ferozeabad. He said the accused belonged to Afghan gang and further investigations are underway.
The police have shifted the bodies to the morgue for the postmortem and the injured dacoit to the hospital.
