Court summons Shehbaz, Hamza on June 11 for indictment

Accountability Court Lahore on Friday ordered PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz to appear before it on June 11 in connection with the Ramzan Sugar Mills case.
The court will lay charges against Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz on June 11, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Accountability court judge Amjad Nazir Chaudhry conducted the hearing and directed both the PML-N leaders to appear before the court in the next hearing on June 11. The NAB was represented by its prosecutor Waris Ali Janjua.
It is pertinent to mention that former Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son are accused in the Ramazan Sugar mills case. As per the reference, the NAB has accused Shehbaz Sharif of misuse of authority where he allegedly approved an amount of Rs210 million for the construction of a drain to benefit the mills.
Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly and former chief minister’s son Hamza Shehbaz has been charged in the case for being the chief executive of the sugar mills.
As per the reference filed by the NAB, Shehbaz and Hamza have "fraudulently and dishonestly" caused loss to the national exchequer. Both Shehbaz and Hamza had pleaded not guilty to the charges.
