Man held for scuffling with traffic cop in Islamabad

A man of Peshawar was arrested by police after he attempted to drive his car on a traffic warden in Islamabad and also engaged in a scuffle with him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to Islamabad police, an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Islamabad traffic police stopped a vehicle with fancy number plates and windows covered with black papers.
The driver, identified as Waheedullah Khan, lost his temper over being stopped, and he not only attempted to drive the car onto the policeman but also engaged in a scuffle with him.
Kohsar police registered a case under other provisions including murder attempt, interfering with government’s affairs, and obstructing traffic flow.
In the FIR, ASI Muhammad Aslam alleged that the accused deliberately hit him with a car he was driving and injured him.
The ASI added that accused Waheedullah Khan also stopped his car in the middle of the road and threatened to kill him.
In the video that was made available to 24NewsHD TV channel, the accused can be seen scuffling with the traffic ASI on the road.
