Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has welcomed PTI Chief Imran Khan back to Bani Gala later today (Sunday) with a vivid warning that soon after the expiry of his bail protection, the latter will be ‘very happily’ arrested by the security officials who are currently providing him security, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement on Sunday, Interior Minister Rana Sana said that there were reports that PTI chief was coming back to Islamabad today from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He welcomed him saying that the former premier was being provided a security detail as per the law.
He said abiding by the law he ordered to provide security to the PTI chief. He said Imran was nominated in more than two dozen cases of mayhem, disturbance, disorder, violence and armed attack on the Federal government.
In a sarcastic tone, the interior minister said: “The officials who are providing security duty to Imran, they will very happily arrest him as soon as his protective bail expires.”
He wondered a man who was devoid of any moral or democratic values, how could he be the head of a party in a democratic society. It’s a matter of concern for the entire nation.

On the other hand, PTI leader and former parliamentary affairs minister Dr Babar Awan said that life of Imran Khan was in extreme danger.
He said next two days were critical in this regard as former premier was facing utmost threat to his life. He said that Imran had got protective bail from the Peshawar High Court.
Addressing the public institutions and human rights organizations, the PTI leader said that according to confirmed reports some people were seen loitering around Bani Gala and some powers behind the tall walls and closed doors were hatching a plot to assassinate Imran Khan. He announced that Imran Khan was coming back to Islamabad.
Dr Awan stated this in a video message released on Saturday.
He said according to some well-informed sources, the authorities would raid Imran’s house at the dead of the night. He said Imran’s life would be in extreme danger during next 48 hours. He requested the people and law enforcement agencies to keep a vigil while pleading for the safety of PTI chief’s life.
