Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed has been shifted to Kot Lakhpat jail from Services Hospital, reported 214NewsHDc TV channel.

The family of Mahmood-ur-Rasheed alleged that he was forcibly transferred to jail even though he underwent emergency surgery just two days ago due to a ruptured appendix.

His son, Hassan Mahmood, strongly condemned his discharge from the hospital and subsequent transfer to jail.

Hassan Mahmood explained that the ruptured appendix severely affected his father's stomach, necessitating immediate medical attention and recovery time in a hospital setting.

However, the Punjab government forcibly moved Mahmood-ur-Rasheed from the hospital to jail, despite his critical condition.

He highlighted the risk of complications due to the extreme heat.

He expressed serious concerns about his father's wound worsening in such conditions, emphasizing that transferring him to jail in this condition is a violation of human rights.
