PPP’s long march on its way to Phoolnagar from Okara

March 5, 2022 07:47 PM

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers are anxiously waiting for the arrival of the party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Phoolnagar near Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to reports, jiyalas have started gathering in large numbers to welcome their leader, who had set out on a long march along with thousands of party workers from Karachi around seven days ago and is on his way to Islamabad where they plan to force Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign.

Bilawal, who had left for Lahore from Sahiwal early today, addressed a public gathering in Okara a few hours ago.

24News reported that after he left Okara along with the other marchers, the administration in Pattoki started blocking the roads leading to the city in order to stall the progress of PPP’s long march.

The marchers are scheduled to reach Lahore tonight.

A caravan of PPP leaders and workers, led by Bilawal, had left Karachi for Islamabad on February 27, 2022 with the avowed aim of sending the PTI government home for its ‘incompetence’, leading to issues like inflation and others.
