Woman raped in Sukkur’s Darul Amman

An Inquiry Commission appointed by the Sindh High Court has confirmed the incident of rape of a woman in Darul Amman (Shelter Home) at Sukkur, Sindh, reported 24NewsHd TV Channel.
According to the details, a women Wenjhar Bibi who was sheltered there along with some other females was raped by a clerk of the Darul Amman identified as M Sharif Mughal several times as she was mentally unstable.
She wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court who taking serious notice of it, immediately appointed Session Judge Sukkur as an Inquiry Officer to probe the facts and to report to the court within a couple of days.
In the investigations, the Inquiry Officer recorded more than eight women witnesses’ statements in which they confirmed the allegation against the clerk and informed that the accused also threatened them to kill if they protest against his crimes.
The witnesses told the Session Judge that the rape victim was also mentally unstable so the accused clerk took an advantage of this thing.
On Wednesday, the Inquiry Officer submitted his report to the Sindh High Court on which the rapist clerk of Darul Amman Sukkur was arrested by the local police registering a case against him.
