Freedom of expression a must for democracy: Asif Ali Zardari

Former president Asif Ali Zardari said Pakistan has a history of struggle for media freedom, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will continue its freedom of expression campaign, he said in a message on World Press Freedom Day

Benazir Bhutto (Shaheed) abolished black laws against media in 1988, he recalled, stressing that freedom of expression is a must for strengthening democracy.
