SAPM on Power Shahzad Syed Qasim resigns

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Coordination of Marketing and Development of Mineral Resources with the status of Minister of State Shahzad Syed Qasim resigned from his portfolio over personal reasons on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Prime Minister Imran Khan accepted the resignation of Shahzad Syed Qasim and the Cabinet Division has issued a notification in this regard.
Shahzad Qasim was appointed as Special Assistant to Prime Minister on October 27, 2018.
He did Masters in Energy and Policy Management from University of Pennsylvania. He served at senior executive positions for the AES Corp, a fortune 500 company, Vice-Chairman of NGP, an IPP of renewable energy.
