Strict security cordon around SKMH in Lahore as PTI chief recuperating

Former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s health is improving who is getting medical treatment at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital Lahore for the gunshot wound he received during an assassination attempt on his life in Wazirabad on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Reportedly, Imran is recuperating at his own hospital. All the PTI workers went to their homes last night. However, there was only the police contingent providing security duty at the hospital early this morning.
The entry of irrelevant persons is banned in the SKMH. The relatives of the patients could enter the hospital after showing their cards.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan was injured when shots were fired near the container of PTI's long march which has anchored at Wazirabad on Thursday afternoon.
Imran Khan received a bullet in his leg and was rushed away from the panicked crowd to a hospital on a stretcher with strict security cordon laid around him.
Moreover, one person got killed and seven others were injured including the close aide of PTI chief Senator Faisal Javaid, Imran Ismael, Ahmad Chattha and Imran Yousaf, said the SHO of the area who also claimed that police had arrested the culprit.
