Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday said that just like in the central government, there was a ‘puppet’ government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a public gathering at Kotli in AJK, he claimed that Kashmir still belonged to PPP.
“If free and fair elections are held, the party will have governments both in Pakistan and the AJK,” he said, and added, “We are those who have faced dictators. When we could not be deterred by dictators, how can we be intimidated by this government installed by the establishment?”
Bilawal asked Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) as to what had become of its promises which it had made to the people prior to coming to power in 2018. “Where are 10 million jobs and five million homes?” he questioned.
The PPP chairman asked the people of Kotli to foil what he called the ‘conspiracies’ being hatched by the ‘puppet’ government and vote for the PPP candidate in the by-election to be held on October 10.
