Flood victims in Sindh continue to fall prey to infectious diseases

Now when it has been close to a month that it has not rained anywhere in Sindh, infectious diseases are on the rise in the flood-affected areas of the province as 187 cases of skin diseases and 127 of diarrhea were reported only from the relief camps set up in Hyderabad during the last 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.   

The health department said seven cases of eye infection and 94 suspected cases of malaria were also reported during the aforementioned period. “As many as 306 people were diagnosed with different diseases in these camps,” it disclosed, adding of these, 237 experienced breathing problems.
