Former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif released a message on the reports stating that people stopped his vehicle in protest yesterday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
He said as he launched a mass contact campaign from his National Assembly constituency, some people stopped his car and told him about their problems.
He added since the campaign’s objective is to put the PML-N agenda in front of the people and solve public problems, he met them and assured them of fixing their woes.
During his meeting with the reps of his constituency, he assured them of providing them relief by fixing their woes.
He issued directives to launch an inquiry into the visitors' complaints and remove their reservations at the earliest.
“It is my duty to listen to you and redress your grievances,” he said, adding that he will continue doing so as he deems public service as worship.
The visitors expressed gratitude to the PML-N leader for listening to them and addressing their concerns.
