September 5, 2020 06:20 PM

The PML-N on Saturday said the party supremo, Nawaz Sharif, should return to the country only after completing his medical treatment, adding that there could neither be politics or a compromise over his health, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore along with other PML-N leaders, Ahsan Iqbal – who is central secretary-general of the party – said Nawaz should return to Pakistan only after full recovery. It was a court that allowed him to pursue his treatment, he added.

Ahsan said Nawaz’s doctors would suggest when he could fly back to Pakistan. “The PML-N demands its leader that he should return after his treatment,” announced Ahsan who described Nawaz as a national asset.

“The decision about the life of Nawaz Sharif cannot be made at talk-shows,” the PML-N leader remarked.

Earlier, a meeting of the PML-N Punjab chapter meeting chaired by its president Rana Sanaullah prayed for early recovery of Nawaz and expressed full confidence in the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif.

The provincial leadership also condemned the incident outside the NAB office when Maryam Nawaz was about to appear the investigators and yearlong detention of Hamza Shehbaz.
