Punjab CM opens Data Sahib’s urs celebrations

Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday announced the start of three-day 980th Urs celebrations of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (Data Sahib) in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The chief minister paid his respects at the shrine and also laid chaddar on the grave.

Mohsin Naqvi, on the occasion, prayed for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.

Millions of devotees, including former finance minister Ishaq Dar, Punjab Minister for Auqaf Azfar Ali Nasir, secretary Auqaf, commissioner Lahore division and a large number of religious scholars attended the event.
