The administration of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended the president of the pilots’ representative body, PALPA, for violating rules and regulations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The notification for the suspension of PALPA President Chaudhry Salman Riaz has been issued. He was also issued a show-cause notice for rules violations.
According to the notification, Salman Riaz in a recent letter sent to the cabin crew mentioned fabricated and baseless things about the PIA administration.
The notification says the PALPA chief has been stopped from work with immediate effect as his step has damaged the credibility of the airline.
