The price of gold witnessed a drop in Pakistan after the value of yellow metal decreased in the international market on Thursday.
The price of 24-karat of pure gold declined by Rs2,500 per tola to reach Rs2,14,500 per tola in the Pakistani yellow metal bazaar.
The All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) shows the price of 10 grams of 24 Karats gold dropped by Rs2,142 to settle at Rs1,83,900 per 10-gram.
The price of 10 grams of 22 karats gold also dropped and settled at Rs1,68,574 per 10 grams.
In the international market, the commodity price decreased by US$4 to reach $2,019 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged at Rs2,450 per tola and the price of 10 grams silver remained unchanged at Rs2,100.48.
