A fatal altercation between two drug addicts claimed one life in Lahore’s Garhi Shahu area, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to police, a minor verbal dispute escalated, leading to one addict fatally stabbing the other with a knife. The identity of the victim is yet to be confirmed.
Following standard procedure, police shifted the body to the morgue via Edhi ambulance after completing the necessary formalities.
This incident comes just weeks after a similar drug-related shooting on March 16 in the Timber Khata area of Mansehra, where a drug addict suspect opened fire, killing two and injuring three, including a woman.
The accused, Nadeem alias Kaka, was later killed by a bullet fired by his own accomplice during a police encounter. He was reportedly wanted in multiple serious criminal cases.
