The Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land was screened at the United Nations in a special event aimed at exposing the harsh realities of Israeli atrocities and growing violence in the occupied West Bank, reported international media.
The screening was hosted by a special UN committee, with the objective of raising awareness in the global community about the intensifying oppression and human rights violations faced by Palestinians.
The film's director, Basil Al-Adraa, addressed the attendees, shedding light on the grim conditions endured by the Palestinian people.
“The film may have won an Oscar, but our reality remains deeply painful,” Al-Adraa stated passionately.
He emphasised that the struggle for justice goes beyond accolades: “We don’t need awards alone — we need real action to end this suffering.”
The screening comes at a time when violence in the region continues to escalate, with international human rights groups repeatedly calling for accountability and justice.
