Faisal Mosque’s main prayer hall sealed

The district administration in Islamabad has sealed the main prayer hall of the Faisal Mosque for violating coronavirus guidelines, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to the TV channel, from now on collective prayers could not be offered in the main hall as the mosque administration failed to enforce the standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding Covid-19.

The violation was noticed during the last Friday prayers, the TV channel added.

The death toll from coronavirus in the federal capital stood at 340 as six more people died during the last 24 hours. The total number of cases in Islamabad has risen to 32,414 with the positivity ratio stood at 6.16 percent.
