Smog continues to engulf Lahore as Punjab’s provincial capital remains the most polluted city in the world, reported 24NewsHd TV channel Monday.
According to details, the poisonous smog continued to rule over the city once dubbed as City of Gardens. In the early hours of Monday, the Air Quality Index of Lahore was measured at 284.
The Air Quality Index ratio at different points of the city was as: Town Hall 232, Township 257, Gulberg 345, Defence Phase 8 382.
The health experts have warned the citizens to take precautionary measures and use face masks. According to the Met Office, the maximum temperature in the city will be 23 degrees on the Celsius scale was the minimum will be 11 degrees.
The ratio of the humidity in the air was 79 percent with strong winds of 2km per hour.
According to the met office, there is no chance of rain in the city in near future.
