The Punjab government will take a loan of two billion rupees from the World Bank (WB) for pension reforms.
According to the 24News HD TV channel report, the Punjab government mainly wants to cut costs being spent on the pension system.
The channel sources said that the Punjab government will get the loan from WB for taking steps in pension reforms.
The sources said the World Bank has already given the Punjab government the task of pension reforms and cost reduction.
The sources said in the case of implementing the different reforms in Punjab, around 18 to 20 billion rupees can be saved annually.
