An anti-terrorism court in Lahore has issued non-bailable arrest warrants of eight PTI leaders including Azam Swati, Farrukh Habib and Murad Saeed in connection with a May 9 vandalism case
The court issued the warrants on Tuesday citing PTI leaders’ involvement in setting ablaze police vehicles at Rahat Bakery Chowk in Lahore on May 9.
The other PTI leaders are Zubair Khan Niazi, Hafiz Farhat Wasiq, Qayyum Abbasi, Hamid Raza and Imtiaz Ahmad Shaikh.
ATC Admin Judge Abhar Gul Khan issued the arrest warrants on an application moved by the police who told the court that they could not arrest the accused so far.
