Sindh cabinet on Monday approved the release of Rs25 billion in funds for different departments to meet the expenditures incurred on floods, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The cabinet, which met with Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the chair, also approved Rs11 million in grant for the registration of 75-acre of land it had allotted for Hyderabad Press Club at Latifabad.
The provincial cabinet also constituted a committee to preserve the record of different departments.
CM Murad said that not only the record should be preserved, but it should also be digitalized.
Members of the cabinet also exchanged views on the Planning Manual.
The cabinet also improved the grade of the post of the Sindh Public Service Commission’s secretary to BS-19 and that of others to BS-20.
Members of the cabinet also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives and damage done to properties in an earthquake in Turkey.
The ministers expressed their solidarity with the victims of the quake.
