Prime Minister Imran Khan has boasted about the good performance of the Communication Ministry and the National Highway Authority praising both of them for completing a four-lane highway in 138% less cost as compared to the road projects completed in the PML-N regime while accumulating a 125% more revenue despite inflation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Reacting to the prime minister’s boastful claim, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb advised him to stop posting false tweets as they won’t build any roads nor did they hide his foreign funding dacoity.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan uploaded a tweet which read: “Congratulations to Ministry of Communication & NHA for saving public money through transparency & digitisation:4 lane highway - 138% reduced cost from PMLN govt; 125% increase in revenues & Rs.5.18 bn worth land freed from encroachments. All this despite global price hikes & inflation.”

Reacting to the PM tweet, PML-N spokesperson Ms Aurangzeb said that the nation did not want his puerile comments and his lies. It wants Imran’s resignation, she stated adding that the prime minister must answer the wrongdoing he committed in the foreign funding case.
She was of the view that by posting false tweets, neither Imran Khan could build roads nor could he conceal his fiddling in the foreign funding accounts.
