A tragic accident claimed the lives of three people, including a child, when their car fell into a canal in Swabi district on Friday.
The incident occurred in Bachai village due to heavy fog that reduced visibility on the road.
The car went out of control and plunged into the water, drowning two women and a child.
One woman and the driver survived with injuries and were rescued by the team of Rescue 1122.
They were shifted to Bacha Khan Complex for treatment. The police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the accident.
