Renowned mountaineer Sharif Sadpara went missing after falling into a ditch while scaling Skardu Broad Peak, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday, quoting sources.
Sharif Sadpara was accompanying a team of foreign climbers when he slipped and fell into a ditch from a height of 7,000 feet.
His colleagues – Dilawar Sadpara and Murad Sadpara – tried to rescue him but failed. Sharif Sadpara’s family has appealed the Army Aviation to help rescue him.
Sharif Sadpara had scaled K2 for the first during last summer.
