The parliamentarians have announced taking out a rally from the Parliament to the Indian High Commission on Friday to register a protest against the blasphemous remarks made by leaders of the Indian ruling party, BJP
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, lawmakers made this announcement during a session. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui of MQM-P filed a resolution condemning the most hurtful act.

Call for banning Indian products
The upper house of the parliament adopted a resolution over blasphemy, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla presented the resolution, calling for a stern action by the government of Pakistan.
The resolution raised the demand for banning Indian products in Pakistan and taking up the matter with the United Nation and other such forums. It also demanded an emergency meeting of OIC over the matter.

President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have already condemned the hurtful act. The president said this reflected a growing trend of Islamophobia in India where Muslims lived in millions.
Suspending and expelling party officials was not enough, he said, adding that the BJP must shun and denounce its extremist and fascist Hindutva ideology.

In a series of tweets, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that India, under the Modi-led fascist regime, is trampling religious freedoms and persecuting Muslims.
He called upon the world powers to take serious notice of rising Islamophobia and systematic religious persecution in India without impunity and take all steps necessary to put an end to it.
