Suspects’ wives too found involved in Karachi gang-rape case

A startling revelation was made during the hearing of the gang-rape case of a 13-year-old girl in Karachi court on Saturday when it was learnt that not only the suspects but their wives too were involved in the heinous crime, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Following the disclosure, the police nominated two women Bakht Zebaz and Laila and one male named Adil in the case.
During the hearing, the police submitted an interim challan in the case to the court of Judicial Magistrate East Shafqat Hussain Solangi, in which it also inserted the sections related to rape.
Meanwhile, the police have sent samples of both the victim and the suspects to a laboratory for DNA tests.
Bakht Zebaz and Laila, two women nominated in the case, and one male suspect Adil are still at large.
The girl, on the other hand, has told the police that wives of Asfandyar and Intezar were also involved in the incident since they incited their husbands to rape her.
Judicial Magistrate Shafqat Solangi directed the investigation officer (IO) in the case to submit the final challan to the court at the next hearing.
The petitioner had said that his daughter was kidnapped by unknown suspects on January 20.
While the investigation officer told the court that the girl had been recovered and on the basis of information provided by her raids were conducted at different places to arrest the suspects.
Police told the court that two suspects Asfandyar Khan and Intezar Khan had been arrested while the hunt for the remaining suspects was on.
