An accused robber Monday was killed while the other severely injured during a duel with Police and Rangers at Orangi Town 5 as they tried to escape after robbery, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A gunfight started between four robbers and Police and Ranger forces while they were escaping from the spot on two motorcycles. A robber was killed during the duel while the other was arrested in a crucially injured condition. Weapons and the stolen goods were recovered from the perpetrators.

The Rangers stated that the robbers looted around Rs1.8million from a cooking oil agency owner near Nishan-e-Haider Chowk. The robbers started firing at the forces as soon as they arrived at the spot. One of them was killed in return fire, another was injured while the other two managed to escape the spot. A team has been formed for their arrest.

Three pistols, ammunition and cash was recovered from the robbers and the arrested culprit has been handed over to the police along with the weapons for further action.
