Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi has extended warm felicitations to the newly elected President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Senator Aimal Wali Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The minister in his congratulatory message to Senator Aimal Wali Khan said all the members of the central council of ANP expressed full confidence in Amil Wali Khan’s leadership.
Mohsin Naqvi added that the election of Amil Wali Khan as the President of ANP is welcome.
Naqvi said that it is hoped that the legacy of democracy and progressive ideology, rooted in the principles of Bacha Khan, would continue to flourish under Aimal Wali Khan’s leadership.
