Sindh Health Department Sunday issued an advisory and directed all the hospitals across the province to take preventive measures against Congo virus immediately, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
At least eight cases of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) have been reported in Quetta Civil Hospital.
The health workers have also been reported to be affected by the CCHF virus and Dr Shukar Allah Baloch has been reported to die of the disease in Quetta.
Humans usually get this virus induced in their bodies from animals.
The directions issued by the Sindh Health Department advised the health workers and the public to take preventive measures against the virus.
