A special court accepted the application for exempting Bushra Bibi from appearance and asked for completing arguments in the next hearing of the Toshakhana-II case on November 8.

Special Judge Central Shahrukh took up the case in Adiala Jail. As the defence argued on the acquittal pleas of the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi, the prosecutor told the court that these were delaying tactics.

The prosecutor insisted the court should indict the PTI founder and his PTI and Bushra Bibi while the defence bought time to some documents in favour of the acquittal.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Faisal Chaudhry alleged the government has been trying to implicate Imran Khan in bogus cases and this case is one of them.

“An attempt is being made to keep Khan in prison,” he added.

Taking a swipe at the government, he said the corruption mafia is ruling the state.

However, he said Imran Khan asked the party workers to be ready for a peaceful demonstration against the corruption mafia.

He rejected the reports about Shah Mehmood Qureshi forming a forward bloc.
