The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sindh has started an investigation into fake appointments in three important departments of the Sindh government including the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.

The TV channel reported that merit violations have been noted on 30 posts of 17-grade in the Sindh Food Department, Excise and Taxation and Cooperatives Department.

NAB Sindh started investigations into the violations in Sindh PPSC 2018 exams of Assistant Register, District Food Controller and Excise and Taxation Office (ETO).

The NAB Sindh has asked for the record of these appointments from the Chairman Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC).

The TV channel reported the NAB observed discrepancies in the list of 30 posts of 17-grade. The anti-corruption body said 30 new names were added instead of the previously recruited candidate.
