Passenger train escapes disaster as track bombed in Sukkur

A passenger train escaped a disaster as a railway track was blown up in Sukkur on Wednesday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Luckily, the passenger train, Sir Syed Express, passed only minutes before when the railway track in Kot Lalu area of Sukkur was blown up.

SP Railway Sukkur Amjad Manzoor said there was no loss of life or injuries to anyone. The broken track has been repaired and the traffic has been restored, he added.

The railway police officer confirmed that there was a cracker explosion on the uptrack.
