The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Thursday decided to impose restrictions on the Afghan Transit to curb the smuggling, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
FPCCI Vice President Shabbir Mansha said that it was important to ban certain goods coming to Pakistan via the Afghan Transit.
This decision will curb the smuggling and the illegal exchange of dollars.
Shabbir Mansha said that steps should be taken to utilize the drop in the dollar rate so the rising inflation can be reduced.
FPCCI Vice President said that the incomplete information about the bank account adds to the problem. The State Bank has clarified that the amount is safe in the account.
